Some of the most notable projects I’ve been a part of include:

1. TAP pipeline compression station in Evros Gardens. Contractor and employer: TERNA SA. Project budget: >200 million euros. I took part as a civil engineer on construction, responsible for concreting work, building work and finishing. TAP’s Compression Station in the Gardens is one of the most modern and renowned constructions, a project of unprecedented specifications for Greek data developed with high international standards of oil and gas projects.
2. Vertical Axis of Egnatia Road Ardano – Ormenio, section Ardano – Didymoteicho Evros. Contractor and employer: AEGEK SA, AKTOR SA. Project budget: >100 million euros. The project included more than 30 km of new high-standard highway, bypasses and uneven settlement junctions, parallel railway track construction, stream bridges, etc. I was a site engineer responsible for the reinforced concrete constructions of the subcontractors (coordination, technical specifications and quality control of materials). I was also the responsible engineer in the technical office of the project for road design, traffic flow management, measurements – quantities (BOQ), estimationasbuiltanddocumentation.
3. Restoration of Bayazit Mosques in Evros Didymoteicho. Employer: Ministry of Culture. Project budget: >4m. euro. The Great Mosque of Bayezid is one of the most important Ottoman mosques in the Balkans. Notorious for its ancient roof, unique in the Muslim world due to its shape, quality and construction, but unfortunately destroyed in 2017 due to the criminal negligence of a subcontractor.
4. New Shopping Center of Ioannina, with IKEA, JUMBO, LEROYMERLIN stores. Contractor and employer: TERNA SA. Project budget: >27m. euro. I took part as a civil engineer on construction, responsible for concreting works, building works, finishes, insulations, the surrounding area, I was a safety technician and coordinator of safety techniques.
5. New Shopping Center “HermesPark”, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Contractor and employer: TERNA SA. Project budget: >125m. euro. A project of enormous proportions, I took part as a civil engineer on the construction, responsible for the concreting and industrial flooring works. Specializing in various types of thermal insulation and waterproofing in a project with a floor area of 250,000 m2 and a roof area of 40,000 m2.
