I am an experienced engineer with a dynamic personality and a sense of cooperation. I can work in the most demanding work environment and on high specification projects. I have been entrusted with undertaking various parts of large projects, field coordination and construction in general. I have worked alongside brilliant colleagues in subcontractor management, procurement, cash flow and schedule compliance on high budget projects up to the position of Deputy Site Manager.
About me
Hello friends, partners and visitors! My name is Thanasis Kafetzis, civil engineer MSc, born in 1978 and working since 2007. I studied in the UK, at Liverpool John Moores University (BEng), University of Brighton (MSc), University of Glasgow on scholarship (MSc) and at Democritus University of Thrace in Xanthi, to have my degrees recognized by DOATAP. I have been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2007.
After completing my studies, I work in my place of origin, Nea Orestiada, Evros, where my father, who was a civil engineer, ran a technical office since 1971. For several years, I also worked in other locations such as Sofia in Bulgaria, Ioannina and Soufli for large building, energy and road construction projects.
